New streams, new podcasts!
June 26, 2010 at 6:33 pm | Posted in Announcements | Leave a commentAlright, I update the stream page there with both the UCF TV stream channel as well as my own video game stream. So, if you’re bored, there might be something to watch.
We also got a new podcast up on our stream channel, it’s a test since we’re still trying to figure out a good format on how to do our podcast. Anyways, you can check it out here!
Speaking of streams…
Have any of you been keeping up with the online GodsGarden tournament? It consists of some big named Japanese players in SSF4 so if you want to look at it, you should check it out. Everything is listed up in Eventhubs.com but if you’re too lazy to sift through everything:
Tokido (Akuma) vs. Sako (Cammy)
YHC | Mochi (Sim) vs. Yago (Fei)
Other fights:
Momochi (Ibuki) vs. Daigo Umehara (Ryu) — June 28, 6 a.m.
Makoto (Vega) vs. Uryo (C.Viper) — July 1, 6 a.m.
I’ll link them here when they get archived.
Also, this was one of the reasons why we started up this stream thing. Either Eventhubs or GodsGarden put this up but it was useful in planning our streaming ideas:

Online streaming tournaments?
With online capabilities, it’s easier to connect people from all over the world to play with each other, but I’m pretty sure that some of you feel the lag when you do play. It’s one of those things that have both pros and cons, and we’re not planning to exclusively run tournaments online; though I will have to admit it would be way easier. Instead, we will run online tournaments with small prizes and keep the big prizes with money pots and everything offline.
But what do you think about the format of their online tournament? Do you think more tourneys could be legitimately run online?
